OF HISTORY

An authentic Savoyard chalet in a preserved environment.

A prestigious rental in the heart of the Aravis

Located in a biotope protection zone, surrounded by fir trees, bordered by a spring and the Le Jaillet torrent, Philomène's farm has been rehabilitated into a sumptuous holiday rental in La Giettaz with a capacity of 12 people. Come and relax there in any season, with friends or family and enjoy its quiet environment with a view of the Aravis range but also of the peaks of Torraz, Christomet and Croisses Baulet.

In winter, you will enjoy a wonderful ski chalet located in the Portes du Mont Blanc ski area. You will even be able to admire the skiers evolving on the large blue slope La Tréfléannaise which winds in front of the chalet 300 m away.

In spring or summer, you will enjoy the hiking or cycling trails that start directly at the foot of the property, no need to take the car. In autumn, the deer roar (ranging from mid-September to mid-October) and the shimmering colors of Indian summer will be unmissable events for nature lovers!

In short, Chalet Philomena is a confidential address in La Giettaz that will enchant you.

“A rare find”

A magical chalet and responsive and very welcoming owners. A unique concept in the heart of the forest. The Plan de la Giettaz region is sublime in the snow. Accustomed to La Clusaz, we appreciated the calm and seclusion of this chalet. Perfect for recharging your batteries.

Message from the owners

Authentic summer farm located at the foot of Croisse Baulet, whose construction dates back to 1828, this chalet will allow you to disconnect perfectly. No noise of civilization comes to disturb the wild frame which surrounds it. In summer the ringing of cowbells grazing nearby, and in winter the joyful interjections of skiers on the track that passes below are generally the only sounds that can be heard from the chalet which is perfectly suited for lovers of nature and four-season mountain activities.
