Situation
La Giettaz is a Savoyard village-resort located equidistant between La Clusaz and Megève.
It is also a ski resort linked to the resorts of Megève Le Jaillet and Combloux (Les Portes du Mont Blanc area).
La Giettaz is located at the foot of the Aravis pass which forms the natural border between Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
Parking and access
The property benefits from 4 uncovered parking spaces:

2 spaces in the "lower" parking lot of the property

2 spaces in the "upper" parking lot of the property (only accessible to 4-road vehicles in summer and winter due to the topology of the land)
Please note: In winter, only four-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires may travel on the Chemin des îles (road which leads to the property). Chains are also strongly recommended, depending on weather conditions.
Can-Am Traxter 4x4
made available free of charge
To make life easier for our holidaymakers who are not equipped with 4x4s and who wish to have a trouble-free stay, the Six-seater Can Am Traxter HD10 4x4 is made available free of charge on demand to holidaymakers at Chalet Philomena against a deposit.
The use of Can Am is limited:

from December to April (security deposit: € 2,500): between the property (lower and upper car parks) and both free public car parks in Le Plan village located 1.5 km from the chalet:

Le Plan village's general car park located at the entrance to the hamlet

ski lift parking on the snow front (ski school, ticket office)

from May to November (security deposit: 1500 €): only between the "upper" car park of the property and the "lower" car park where holidaymakers can park their own vehicles.
Note: 2 drivers maximum. Fuel to be paid at the end of the stay. Limited mileage.
