We are Emmanuelle and Thomas the owners of Chalet Philomena.
Your next stay at Chalet Philomena is approaching and we will have the pleasure of welcoming you personally from 4 p.m.
Please let us know your approximate time of arrival:
OURmeeting pointis the public car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Plan de La Giettaz, just after the small chapel on the left when arriving. I will drive you to the chalet which is located 1.5 km from this car park.

Advice on traffic and access
GPS: be careful if you arrive from Combloux, Megève, Praz sur Arly, Sallanches, Chamonix... (Arve valley), it is imperative to pass through the village of Flumet to reach the station of La Giettaz.Some GPS, including Google Maps, can suggest a route that is totally impracticable on hiking trails and tracks!!
Once at the chalet, non 4x4 vehicles will park at the bottom of the property.
Prepare your stay
A little advice to enhance your comfort: all the floors are made of wood, remember to bring your slippers, clogs or flip-flops in your luggage!

Baby equipment
We invite parents of babies or young children to contact us a few days before their arrival to tell us about their needs in terms of childcare equipment (high chair, travel cot, toilet reducer, potty, children's dishes, stair gate, bouncer, etc.) . Completely free service.
Reminders
Pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are not allowed at all at Chalet Philomena.
The interior of the chalet is completely non-smoking.

Reminder of the services included in the price of your vacation rental:
o End of stay cleaning (except kitchen area which will be done by you)
o Sheets (beds made on arrival)

Chek-out instructions
Your check-out must be done before 10 a.m. so that the cleaning team has time to prepare the chalet for the next occupants, so I will meet you at the chalet around 9:50 a.m. (9:40 a.m. if you need to return the Can-Am) the day of your departure.
If you want to leave earlier, remember to let me know the day before.
Before your departure, we kindly ask you to:

Clean the kitchen area, put the dishes away

Throw away all garbage bags (bathrooms and kitchen) as well as recyclables in communal garbage cans (Plan car park) on leaving

Clean outdoor areas (cigarette butts, bottles, etc.)

Throw the ashes from the fireplace into the zinc bin at the back of the chalet

Strip the beds and leave the dirty sheets, towels and tea towels under the stairs

Carefully store used board games, DVDs and console games in their respective boxes

Check that you have not forgotten anything (remember to also check in the ski room)
